My 4 year old loves Potter Park Zoo. We buy the deluxe membership annually so we can always bring a friend with us for free. This zoo is amazing, I have been going here since I was a kid. They have changed over the years to improve with the times, and become something better, and not get rundown and fall behind the times. The attractions are kid and adult friendly alike, and there's something for everyone!
The Potter Park Zoo is a great place to go to spend a few hours. Admission is reasonable for the wide selection of animals at the zoo. There are birds, tigers, lions, lemurs, kangaroos, and much more. The camel ride while extra was a highlight of our visit.
This is great little zoo with some great animals. We visited Potter Park Zoo over Labor Day weekend, and couldn't believe how clean and well kept the grounds werw. It is a pleasant, shaded walk from exhibit to exhibit, and most of the animals are presented in very natural habitats versus cages. It was easy to just wander and follow the signs to see everything.
