beautiful 20+ mile trail in Jackson from Weatherwax Drive to Concord, MI. Quiet with nature and animals all along. The trail does go further into Jackson and not sure how much farther.
Falling waters trail is a "rails-to-trails" path; it's the location of old railroad tracks that have been replaced with a wide, well maintained asphalt trail. Appropriate for walking, running, rollerblading, riding bikes, or stopping at a table for a picnic! No motorized vehicles allowed. The trail passes by several ponds, neighborhoods, farm fields and wetlands; it's relatively flat. It's peaceful,... 更多
This is a wonderful trail for walking or biking. It is 11 miles long so it can be used by everyone. It has markers along the way so you can keep track of your progress on a daily basis if you are trying to built up your walking miles. If you are into geocaching, there are a few hidden along... 更多
I love to run on this trail. I usually take my dog with me, on a leash, of course. I run from the Concord end to Lime Lake and love the scenery. It's safe, easy and not crowded. Beats a gym or treadmill, hands down.
This trail is by far the best thing that could have been added to the community. Families of all ages use the trail for walking, biking or jogging.
Although the trail can be a little boring when running distances over 6 miles, it is a great place to go when you don't want to worry about traffic or finding a long route. It is nice that there are bathroom stops along the way too. It is very beautiful and scenic. It is very likely that you will see... 更多
Helped my wife train for a 100 mile run on this trail (while I rode my bike). Not much traffic most days. Around Lime Lake the scenery and the breezes are fantastic. Great place for a mid-ride snack.
Trail runs from downtown Jackson to Concord Mill Pond and it's mostly country views most of the way and even a few lakes along the way, and it's flat. You can start at the beginning or the end, or several places in the middle. There's parking lots and benches along the way, and at least 1 outhouse about half way... 更多
This 10 mile trail that goes from Jackson to Concord, MI is beautiful and well maintained. We have ridden our bike on it multiple times, usually stopping for a snack or lunch at the Concord Cafe. It is flat! Be aware that it can be somewhat congested at the Jackson end, particularly on the weekends.
Trail is excellent. Flat, wide and well maintained. Plenty of shade for much of the 10 mile path. Lots of fauna to be seen as well. We get the excellent sandwiches from nearby Kibby Cobb market and then picnic on the trail. What a great summer activity!
