It's particularly difficult to get to Veldheer Gardens these days; there's so much construction in the area. Once you arrive at the attraction, you wonder if it's still a going concern. The entrance is a little confusing, but I took a chance and found myself inside an enormous warehouse. They sell every kind of knickknack you can imagine, lots of... 更多
First off, I have to say that I've known about this place for years. I've never understood why people would pay to see flowers that are literally lining the streets all over downtown Holland during the Tulip Time festivities. But, even when it's not TT, this place is kind of sad. The buildings are in poor repair. The store is... 更多
The 2 weeks Tulip festival is truly colorful at Veldheer. I like the variety of Tulips and the way they keep it. A good to visit place during May month.... and click few colorful memories.

This is a great place to see bulb flowers before you buy rather than just seeing a picture. If you are not interested in buying bulbs, you can enjoy it for the beauty in the colorful flowers and combinations of flowers.

However, Veldheer group does charge you $10 per person to see a small enclosed garden of tulips. The negative side is that it is pretty crowded that you will not be able to... 更多
I knew that due to this springs weather the tulips bloomed a bit early, so I wasn't expecting the tulip gardens to look like the photos that Veldeers puts out in their marketing materials. But I also wasn't expecting the weeds. There were so many weeds mixed in with the tulips that at times the weeds were higher. The buildings... 更多
Drove out specifically to see this. Was very surprised that the tulips are completely fenced with a $10.00 entry fee to see them. That's a dollar more than Windmill Island!!! Declined to pay the rather taciturn ladies at the counter and left.
