The first floor has artifacts from local Dutch settlement, with some displays of Native American and Hispanic culture as well. There are nice exhibits of local industries. When we were there, there was a rotating exhibit of antique toys. The second floor is occupied by a very Dutch art collection, including a small Rembrant print and antique furniture. The collection... 更多
Visited this museum with two middle schoolers and a 6 year old while vacationing in Holland. We got a great deal on Groupon (4 tickets for $10), so we decided to take a break from the beach and learn some area history. The museum docents were amazing. They were knowledgable and very helpful. Harley, in particular, took extra time to... 更多
The first floor has some good artifacts from Holland (the Michigan version). They are more meaningful if you know the Michigan history but will be okay even if you don't. The second floor has some nice furniture and art from Holland (the European version).
Spent a couple of hours viewing the exhibits in the Holland Museum. They do an excellent job of giving the history and development of the area. Nicely displayed and well labeled artifacts. A gallery of antique toys was also very interesting.
Enjoyed a quick two hours looking at the various displays. The Holland history was nicely done and gave us a better understanding of the area. Mike tickled our ears with interesting facts and was quick to answer any questions we had.Had a very nice Toy display with tables for the kids to do activities.
Not a huge museum but an interesting place to see. Many different exhibits to help learn about the area. This is the second time we visited this museum. The second floor was closed this time.
We were greeted by an excellent tour guide, Jacob. He proceeded to give us informational history on all the sections and displays in the museum. The entrance fee was minimal. It was a highlight of our visit to Holland!

The upstairs has Dutch art and ceramics, and there are two houses down the street that can be visited as part... 更多
It was fantastic. I enjoyed looking at all of the displays. There was a volunteer docent that was VERY helpful with a lot of added information.
