Took my 54 yr old husband and 7 yr old grandson..we all had a great time. I have trouble with extensive walking on hard surfaces, yet had very little problems...exhibits considerate of animals, I believe most are rescue...interactive to give little ones more to do...there is a rope "walking bridge" AND a "treetop" walking adventure for the whole family. Not... 更多
The John Ball Zoo is a well designed moderately sized zoo that is perfect for a warm afternoon with the grandkids (or kids if you're not lucky enough to have grandkids yet). It has well designed exhibits, especially the tiger exhibit in the wooded area on the top of the hill. There is also a petting zoo, a play area,... 更多
We love John Ball Zoo, and are lucky to be able to visit at least once a year for my company's family picnic. Plan a long half-day visit, longer if you wait to experience the ropes course or ziplines during peak times on the weekend. There is a nice park surrounding the zoo with areas to picnic - pack your... 更多
A medium size but very interactive zoology park. I went with my 2 grandsons, 8 & 10 years of age and they loved every minute of it. A good size park for a single day visit. Prices are reasonable although there are the fees for extra activities. A very good value for the money. The park was very clean and... 更多
The John Ball is not the largest zoo by any means, but the value is outstanding! You are able to interact with the animals in a way that not too many other zoos allow. The best attractions are the Tiger Exhibit, the Sting Ray tank (which unfortunately might be down for repairs), and the Kangaroo (I think they are actually... 更多
Good place to spend the day with family. Friendly staff, lots to see and do. Well worth the price of admission. Save money and get a yearly family pass.
It was the day before it was to close for the year. The animal exhibits ere excellent. Some features were shut down for the year like the zip line. I would visit again.
Everyone tries really hard at the John Ball Zoo. Their enclosures are large and they have a continual improvement plan that always is working on something. Interactive things for kids are also good, a funicular train, large petting zoo, camel rides, interactive bird enclosure, all the things zoos should have There is also an excellent volunteer network. It's a good... 更多
Nice autumnal walk but very outdated when compared to other zoos. Some animals are very difficult to see, especially for shorter people and children in waggons/strollers. Many exhibits closed. Definetly not worth paying for a 2 year old when othet places let them in for free.
