I took my five year old niece and two year old nephew. They had a blast and totally engaged. However, the other children weren't as closely supervised as I would have liked and this resulted in limited sharing of items in the kitchen and restaurant.
We have taken all our grandsons to the museum and they are always exicited to return again and again. The museum provides many different types of experience for all ages. Grat outing for everyone of all ages.
I took my 10-year old and 8-year old. They were a little too old for the museum. Try to catch the free Saturdays! Go outside in the courtyard when weather permits. I took my girl scout troop too! My daughters actually loved the grocery shop.

Wonderful hands-on areas for young children to explore and play. I brought my 2 year old and 5 year old and both enjoyed the physical science displays, the climbing wall, and 'town' set up. We easily spent 3 hours interacting within the building. Highly recommend, although I wish the parents didn't have to pay ;)
