For the past 6 years, my family has been returning to this campground at least once a year. I love the convenience of the location to downtown Charlevoix as well as the peaceful seclusion of the campground. I have never had problems with fellow campers, and the staff is always very helpful. we will continue to return!!
Incredible sandy beach, park, camp ground, cross country skiing, hiking, sunsets, and the list goes on!! Must go!
This is our favorite rustic campground in Michigan. There are roughly 12 waterfront campsites on the beach of Lake Michigan. There are two campgrounds, North and South. North is closest to the entrance, and has the best waterfront sites: #9, 26-31 (these six are the best and most popular, in that order), and 32-35 (pull-through sites). However, you can see... 更多
Having settled in to our hotel , shopped and had dinner, we set out in search of the sunset over Lake Michigan. It was a clear blue sky kind of day and perfect for driving through this state park. We saw many nice lakeside campsites. At the end of the main drive, we were able to park and walk a... 更多

We've come here for the last two years and plan on making it an every summer tradition. It's so quiet and the sites are nice and spread out. I recommend the south campground because the beach is sandier and the sites are more private and there's no view of the cement factory from the beach on that end.
We drove to the end of the park to the beach/picnic area and it was an interesting experience. The beach was not quite what we expected, it was very grassy, not just an expanse of sand to set up our chairs. But we made the best of it and had a great time! The water was warm, the breeze cool... 更多
This is an awesome campground! Our site was large, private and right on the beach of Lake Michigan! The facilities are limited but clean. We are definitely going back!
I've driven through this wonderful park three times. In October 2013 my mom and I stopped by on our way to an art event. My brother had been raving about the place for years, so we decided to check it out. I almost turned around when the road we were on brought us to the industrial towers of a cement-making... 更多
