This is a nice little museum in Calumet right off of US 41. Your tour starts off with a 15 minute film on the mining industry in the area. You then walk through displays that depict the life of the miners and others that lived in the area. They have many interesting artifacts from that era that really show you... 更多
Lots to learn here about the history of copper mining and the way of life back then. The guides are very well informed. The displays are very well done. It held my grandsons' interest, the are 9 and 11. At the end of the tour they each received a free piece of copper to take home.
