Really loved this quaint little village. Best picture we took othe day was of this old fishing shed. Had several people say it should be framed. Some quaint shops to visit close by as well.
I'm a huge movie nerd and the only reason I wanted to stop here was because the Alaskan parts of Proposal were filmed here. While, it was cool to see the filming location, the town had much more to offer. Motif Number 1 was beautiful and a great place to take some pictures!
Notif Number 1 is a small red old building, you can make some good pictures by photo or to paint it. That's all but if you visit Rockport you must see it.

This iconic building is really just a location for a photo-op, or if you are an artist, a popular scene to paint. You can't think of Rockport without Motif Number 1 popping into mind, but I wouldn't exactly consider it "something to do".
I have read about this landmark and wanted to see it for myself, so on a recent trip to Boston, we made a day trip to Rockport. Rockport is a quaint little town with lots to see and do including photographing Motif 1. It definitely was a worthwhile sightseeing day trip. Beautiful.
