On a quiet November evening as the sun is setting with the fishing boats tied up at the pier this is one peaceful location.
Nice place to sit on the bench and enjoy the boats and the beautiful wharf. There are many photo spots walking up to the end of the wharf. We took one with me sitting on a whale statue. Enjoyed the time sitting on the bench watching the birds and the people. We came with a bus tour and had 3... 更多
If you come by one of the ferries, this is where you will land. There are many interesting art vendors along the wharf, besides the many beautiful boats.
We loved walking out on the Wharf, a popular place. You get a birds eye view of fishing vessels, the high speed ferry, and the Whale Watch boats. It's old, but sturdy, and has New England Charm. Plenty of places to sit and watch the birds, and people watch. You can walk to the very end, and breathe in the... 更多
Many attractions are available only by using the MacMillan Wharf, Fast Ferry, Trolley Tour, Dolphin Whale Watch and there are several local shops here as well.
This is just another one of the many sites that you need to see, to truly experience Provincetown. So nice to take in the abundance of boats of all shapes and sizes, and upkeep. It is also wonderful to see the ferries taking in/out day trippers and also all the transfer of Bostonians. Nice to sit at the end and... 更多
McMillan Wharf is a great place to stroll and take in the sights and sounds. Fishing vessels and whale watching ships are docked there and the wharf has a variety of small arts and craft shops. The Wydah Museum sits at the end of the dock and is worth a visit. The wharf and museum are a must see.
The views are very picturesque. Best time to capture good photos are about 2 hours before sunset when the lighting conditions are ideal. Sadly, it's also crowded at those hours when the seafarers return back from their ocean activities and for daytrippers to return to Boston. Lots of artists set up shops on the pier to sell their wares. Often,... 更多
When in P-town a stroll down MacMillan Wharf is a must do. It is a trip to see all of the fishing vessels some more worn than others and yet still full of sea life...Having your morning coffee sitting by the pier is one of our favorite things to do.
Benches under shade trees along the water; take-out and sit-down restaurants line each side approaching the wharf. Absolutely wonderful in early morning to see the sun rise.
