This is a field overlooking Plymouth Harbor to the east, and the Monument to the Forefathers to the west. There are no facilities, but it's a fine place for a walk or a picnic, and especially in the summer to see butterflies, grasshoppers, and other "faeries".
Take a walk along the bike/walking path that meanders through the trees with ocean views along the way. Follow path towards Plymouth waterfront and you will end at Nelson Beach Park. Holmes field is great place to fly a kite, play frisbee with your dog. wear bug spray and check yourself for tics afterward. Nice nature walk
