Boring walk on a path with little to see. Ponds look dirty. There is a sign to be careful because soil is contaminated in some areas. Near the end of Sacred Way Path the trail becomes overgrown and difficult to follow. We did not go on the Wolf Pine Trail.
This is a lovely venue to enjoy the Berkshires - beautiful views and more varieties of birds and turtles that I ever knew existed. There are lovely walking trails and ponds and it is especially fun to visit when they are hosting a special event so you can actually have someone show you what you have been missing. Highly recommend...
I am a local and have visited Canoe Meadows a few times. There are some wooded trails that I usually walk through but they need a little work. It looks like they haven't been maintained this summer. The grass on the other path is getting a little long. It would be nice if they could trim it again and it... 更多
In the southeastern section of Pittsfield, Berkshire County's biggest city, is Canoe Meadows Wildlife Sanctuary. It includes rolling hills, the Housatic River, a spotting cabin for birdwatching and a pond. It is great any time of year. We have gone hiking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and enjoyed all of it. There is also a community garden with plots residents can... 更多

It is a great place to just stroll and enjoy the birds and the scenery. We saw so many fantastic birds, including my favorite, the Baltimore Oriole. The paths are easy to follow, but... 更多
I live nearby so I walk here often. Every season offers up something wonderful, a hike, snowshoeing, tree hugging, or just lying in the grass. Connecting with nature on a very personal level. Ahhhh I love this sanctuary.
Beautiful scenery, trails, ponds and fields which are all a part of the Audubon system of trails..Self-guided walks which compliment... 更多
