We come here quite a bit and the walk is easy enough for my elderly parents who have some trouble walking. They bring their walking sticks and its no problem. The kids love the sun bathing turtles. We have come in winter too and its just lovely.
Beautiful, lots to do and see, good parking off route 135, interesting people work here and greet you in the pleasant reception building...less than 4 miles from Wellesley center.
Broadmoor has something for everyone and it's big enough that visitors can really stretch their legs. We have visited several times and would like to go even more often.

We spent a wonderful couple of hours wandering the trails of this Audubon sanctuary on a perfect spring day. All sorts of habitats, good birding, and well-manicured and marked trails. Quiet despite a crowded parking lot, and a helpful volunteer at the desk when we arrived. A wonderful visit to a beautiful facility.
