Great family beach. Calm water, great views and close to parking and bike path. We had bikes but I would guess on a busy day, parking your car might be difficult. It's worth waiting for a space!

This is the beach to go to if you have young children or grandchildren. The water is calm and beautiful. Parking can be challenging, so go early in the day or later in the afternoon.
Every summer, this is our go-to beach during our MV vacation. Parking is free and easy, and the walk onto the beach is short. The water is clear and calm, with little to no waves. The beach is full of shells for collecting. There's plenty of space. Our kids love it!
Quiet secluded beach not difficult to get to. No facilities all natural but really beautiful. You will have to find hidden spots at the end of neighborhood roads to park. Parking free
There are so many great beaches on MV, this is the last one I go to and only when someone calls with free beer and has already set up the cooler. South Beach, East Beach,State Beach and Long Point, Lobsterville, Menemsha are a few examples of where I'd rather be than Bend in the Road. .
The water warms up quickly in season. Shallow smooth bottom. Most days the breeze is mild and off the land.
