Get there early at peak times. From Memorial Day on there are no pets allowed until after Labor Day. It is a short walk less then two miles. If you finish up there you can also use your receipt to access other nearby state parks. They do take master card.
We loved to walk along the river and see the different waterfalls. It was so beautiful. It's was a nice walk and very easy to navigate.
This state park is if not the most beautiful one in deep creek, one of the best. The views are spectacular, the cleanness was impressive and we loved it. Now one little detail. The address on trip advisor takes u to Herrington State park so be aware. Me and my wife had to hike almost 6 miles to get to... 更多
The Falls were beautiful. We enjoyed the hike around the falls seeing how the rocks & stone formation were. We saw no wildlife on our visit except for common birds. Yes we would go again to see the falls.

We camped in our pop-up, and chose a site with hookups. The campground was well-maintained, the bathrooms were clean and stocked, the showers were great. Our hookups were... 更多
Nature at it's finest. the trails are great. The falls are breathtaking. There are picnic areas. Most trails are easily accessible. You can enjoy this park whether your hike all the time or only occasionally.

Mostly canopied for summer hikes which is fantastic. Always walking with the water or you can hear it rushing. You see the tallest water fall in Maryland, Muddy Creek... 更多
