A very nice place to spend a few hr.'s with your grandchildren. It makes for an interesting trip thru history & has quite a few interesting displays. The staff is quite knowledgeable & willing to help or answer any & all questions..
This is a very nice museum with a interesting collection of Maryland's Maritime history. If it is near the Lighthouse and Decoy Museum as well as the Havre de Grace Promenade so you can spend a lot of time visiting many different locations and not have to keep looking for parking space.
Its not hard to loose a few hours here if you carefully look at all of the displays and read all of the info on the many boats of the chesapeake, along with much of the local history of the bay and Havre de Grace. I learned alot and really enjoyed all of the displays that they had painstakinly preserved... 更多
A small museum but very interesting. A number of displays about waterfowl hunting, ice cutting industry of old, early native American and maritime life in general. The staff was very friendly and there is a small gift shop. A $3 donations is requested to tour.
