The church is absolutely gorgeous. When the Bush family is in the area on their estate, I have heard they frequent the church as well. Worth it just to see the gorgeous history
Just passing by and took lots of great pictures. They came out beautiful. We where there during the week and didn't try to even enter the build since it was so cold. We did however enjoy seeing it. The are is very pretty setting right on the ocean.
If you are looking for a nice easy walk on a clear d day then visit St. Anns. Trails that are clearly marked offering great views of the harbor and bay and church sites.
I love going here. They actually say sunrise Mass on Easter, not sure about any other times on Sundays? There is a very large erect evergreen- to me it is so well placed amongst the scenery. This church and grounds are beautiful. Old stone is awesome, you can feel the presence of centuries of history here. Parking is on premises, we went in Sept. and no one else was there.
Saint Ann's Episcopal Church seems to be quite the tourist attraction since many people were visiting at the time we visited. It is a summer chapel that was built between 1887 and 1892. The location of the church is perfect - right on the ocean with the waves crashing on the rocks below. You can actually sit where they have services (outdoors) right by the ocean.
