Food plentiful & tasty. Wait staff very pleasant & accomodating. I was told that the trip would be shorter but we left Boothbay @12:30, spent about 2-1/2 hours on Cabbage Island, left again around 4 & was back around 4:30. So it was a total of a 4 hr. Excursion. Liked it very much & would recommend it to anyone.
Well organized, fun people both on the trip and running the event...food and service was excellent, the trip to the island was essentially a tour of the area with the captain pointing out homes of famous people and stories about the various areas we went past on the very comfortable boat.
This is a really good day, family owned business they are all available for providing a real clambake with all the trimmings, they even own the boat and give a tour on the way to the island
This is a "must do" activity when in Boothbay!! Check with them if you go in the fall as they end their season. This is a family run business and their hearts are in it. Great scenery, friendly staff, excellent food, huge portions and "grandma" even greets you upon arrival. Don't miss this when in the area and, you will... 更多
This is something that should not be missed while visiting Boothbay. The tour of the harbor was both scenic and informative. Once arriving on the island you are greeted by the family and meeting and talking with Bennie Alice is a memory in its own. The clambake process was extremely organized and quick, and the food was terrific. You have... 更多
The Cabbage Island Tour is a must see in Boothbay Harbor. The Cruise gives you a good tour of the harbor and the clambake while on the island is almost more food than you can eat (and you will want to eat it all - it's that good!)
140 or so people are shuttled to Cabbage Island about 30 minutes out, 15 minutes back. Once on the Island there is some time to walk around before the chowder then the clams and lobster. Fun trip, great food, nice staff.
We went for the evening clam bake. It was a very nice trip. The boat ride to and from the Island was enjoyable. A great family experience since you can roam around on the island. The food was good. I would recommend it!
Our best excursion during our five weeks in New England. It was like being invited to a big family for dinner and fun on their island. We took the late afternoon trip. We are sure that during the day it must be the same feeling of summer fun out in the archipelago.
Beautiful day, boat trip to the island with a wonderful "history" "guide" the captain of our vessel. Greeted by the family monarch when you hit land. Nice set up. Lunch included a bowl of fish chowder to start then not 1 but 2 lobsters, 12 clam steamers, corn on cob, baked potato, egg, onion and to top it off, a... 更多
