Although the Museum was closed this time of year, my husband, two children and I have visited this museum twice. We have enjoyed our experience both times and feel that is a great way to share our history with everyone. It is worth checking out if you are in the area.
On a raining Saturday. The local rest stop recomended this place to us and we deceidced to go. This was not only a great place to visit, The history here on transportation was awestruck. The volunteers were available to speak to and very helpful. I love how the train was brought into the complex and how they even go out... 更多
This museum is incredible. You can't possibly see it all in one visit even if you have the time, you will experience overload. If you can't find something that interests you here, then you're not interested in anything. And a great bargain to boot.
I'visited Coles transportation museum with my grandson daughter and several other people this summer. the staff was very helpful and The museum was very clean and the exhibits were well displayed. Great place to spend several hours while in Bangor, Maine. Cost was very reasonable (senior rate of $5) and well worth it. Museum is well organized and very easy to maneuver in. Signage was excellent and easy to read. Great for senior citizens but it would also be very educational for students.
