Couldn't go into the Blacksmiths itself as there were a couple of weddings on (which is fair enough!) Lots of gift shops and a restaurant which was average at best - lukewarm coffee and expensive scones. Staff in the restaurant were waiting to clock off it seemed, but the gift shop staff were attentive.

Stopped here on the way to our Scotland holiday destination, there is something for everyone here, Clothing, Jewellery, Gift shops, and a Whisky shop with dozens of rare limited edition bottles some costing thousands of pounds per bottle. out of my range but I did purchase a reasonably priced bottle. Well worth a visit.

This is a wonderful venue for those interested in a wedding-over-the-anvil or those who wish to see a novel piece of Scottish lore. My wife and I really enjoyed being there. This site in general is very accessible to everyone, whether on foot or in a wheelchair,& I have visited in both, last year and this. Everywhere is very clean and the gardens are lovely the staff are very helpful. My friend and I had lunch in the Restaurant last week when we were there and it was superb.
