This was a cool place, small in size but they have a lot of neat items. I think we could go back and see items that we didn't see the first time. Anything you want to know about Bonnie and Clyde and the Chase and ambush that ended their reign of terror...
I had this museum on my bucket list for several years and had an opportunity to visit it today. The man that owns the museum is very knowledgeable about Bonnie & Clyde. He is very friendly and answered all of our questions. The museum contained a lot more than I was expecting- lots of interesting memorabilia. The video was very... 更多
Small museum that offers plenty of information. If you are passing through, it is worth a stop. There museum offers, newspaper clippings and photos.
Each summer, my brother and I load all the kids into the motor home and make a trek across the country. We love to stop at quirky places not far off of our path. This spot was perfect. Not really RV friendly parking. We parked on the shoulder. Had we been much longer, we would have been ticketed I'm sure.... 更多
Does it really matter what's authentic and what isn't? It's about the experience in the people you talk to that know the history and the stories. It happened in the area people know that and Boots, who unfortunately was not there the day we went, knows the truth and so do the people living in the area. I definitely recommend... 更多
Sooo...there is some confusion between the two. This one is located in the main street strip, in the now unrecognizable cafe that Bonnie purchased a sandwich before heading out on that fateful last drive. Now before you become jaded to this exhibit, let me warn you, this is NOT the Louvre...understand? This is one of a dying breed in the... 更多
This place is not easy to find..However you get to see some great rural Louisiana scenery while looking for it. The museum is a little tacky, but you will see some photos that you have never seen. There are some good (not overpriced) souvenirs . The owner is very nice and knowledgeable.. The whole town is a step back in... 更多
We took a quick trip down to Gibsland to see this museum, and I left feeling disappointed. There are very few artifacts, but there are a lot of pictures that are available elsewhere. The focal point of the museum are "bloodsoaked" mannequins of Bonnie and Clyde. I would only recommend this for those who are truly interested in the history.
We passed by on a Saturday afternoon around 1pm and had planned to visit he museum but it was closed. We did visit the ambush site, however. Giving this two stars because at least they had a replica of B&C's car out front.
