Easy self-guided tour with lots of pictures and "costumes" on display. Not a fancy place and doesn't look like much outside but a lot of work has gone into showcasing the history of how the current music developed. Our older adults loved the history. Interesting and informative. starts back at the start of bluegrass and how it changed thru the years along with photos, cloths and instruments use by the most famous entertainers from Kentucky. Veterans get in free
This is a very nicely done museum. From the outside it doesn't look like much but inside it is state of the art. We spent many hours enjoying the exhibits, wonderful music and videos. We had the place to ourselves so I fear it is overlooked by many which is a shame.
