We only viewed the gardens. They were ok at best. We didn't want to pay to see the house after viewing the gardens thinks it would be a waste of money.
We have been there for a wedding reception. It is a lovely southern antebellum home. A great example of the south when houses were huge and farms were being developed.the gardens are lovely and very we'll kept. A lot of native plants to our state.
We visited on Wednesday, had a tour of the house by a very nice an informed tour guide. The gardens are fantastic, lots of daylilies blooming and we loved the fern garden. Plan to go back to see it again next spring.
