We had the privilege to see Dracula at the Theatre this past weekend. I would highly suggest this play. You don't have to be a fan of Theatre to enjoy Dracula, very entertaining throughout the entire production.
Ended up in Louisville by accident, after dinner at the Spaghetti Factory we went for a walk through town and stumbled into the Actors presentation of Dracula. What a wonderful Halloween treat!! Tremendous acting, great characters, great scenery, and excellent experience. Can't wait to find time to go back!
Centrally located in downtown Louisville, Actors Theatre is surely one of the best regional theatres anywhere. Each spring they host the Humana Festival of New American Plays, welcoming theatre professionals from all over the world. Very popular with locals and tourists. Not to be missed.
The theater was nice. Saw Macbeth there and was very impressed with the performance and the director's artistic license for the production. Close to restaurants but some close up early so check before you go. There is a restaurant downstairs called Milkwood which was jumping after the show was over. Unfortunately, I didn't check it out. I thought ticket prices... 更多
Wonderful place to see plays and theater locally. The ushers are always very accommodating, pleasant and have always been welcoming. I don't think there is really a bad sear in the house as all the seats have great viewing of the stage. Wonderful drink service and they have a restaurant within the same building as well as attached parking. We... 更多
I recently attended the 2016 production of Dracula, which Actors has been putting on in various forms for the last 20 years. The show was campy and fun, scary at times, performed in a small room in the round. I really enjoyed the show and the location is right downtown. Attend if you dare!
When I lived here I had season tickets. Now that I live elsewhere and visit, I was glad to return. All of the seats on the main stage are pretty good. If you have mobility issues, there are no rails as you go down the stairs to your seat. Go to the theater and enjoy yourself.
My wife and I attended a performance of 39 Steps. It was a comical rewrite of the Hitchcock thriller. The actors were Broadway quality. The theater is small, slight lines good and acoustics excell. This production was extremely entertaining and I hope that the community supports it as it is truly a gem.
There's really no bad seat in the house, so don't worry about which ticket you get. Some of the plays are better than others, but you can buy a single ticket to a single play or a whole season series. There is a restaurant at the theatre where you can have dinner before the show or a drink during intermission.... 更多
