I'm an avid cyclist, but don't love riding on the road (I'd much rather listen to music than honking). I utilize the legacy trail almost daily and am so thankful that Lexington invested in it. It's great for cycling, walking, running, rollerblading, etc. It has beautiful scenery and I've never felt unsafe.
I just recently discovered the Legacy Trail. It is a great place to get out and get some exercise. The trail is paved and is good shape. The scenery is wonderful. It is a great place to get out in the fresh air and get some exercise. Love it.
Although not that convenient for those on the south side of town, it is worth the drive. This is a really great place for walking, jogging or running, and, at least when I was there was not at all crowded.
This trail was great for a bike ride, we started across from the horse park and really enjoyed the scenery. I would definitely recommend this if you are visiting the area and looking for a great biking/walking/jogging trail. It's well worth doing.
You can find people enjoying the Legacy Trail most anytime. The scenery is great and it is good for biking and walking. It is very well done.
If you looking for a place to walk and think, this is it. This place offers miles of paved walking or biking path, with beautiful scenery, and with fall trees showing multiple color, is a must.
We began our walk at the Ironworks entrance near Kentucky Horsepark. This is paved trail with ample room for bikers, runners, and walkers. Great way to enjoy the outdoors. Safe, well-maintained, and very picturesque. Plenty of room to ride and ground to cover. Horses grazing and crops growing really make the scenery.
