I hate being trapped in convention centers that refuse to step up and provide WiFi......make it part of the package you offer to convention organizers.....not many of us can be away from the office for extended periods without having to work remotely....why make it hard on us?!
I have been to a number of events at the Convention Center, the most recent being Jurassic Quest. The venue is very nice and there are shops/restaurants attached to the Convention Center. There is plenty of parking.
Excellent meeting place for conventions. Excellent displays on periodic basis such as "History of the English Speaking Bible". Just a classy place to visit.
This also is a nice place with things to do in and around the building. It has taxi's and public transit for transportation. Many restaurants, bars, and stores are within walking distance
Large place and host many events, so check the website have some great local owned shops and a food court in the lower level. hotel attached and triangle park is right out the front doors. parking is not great
This was right across from the hotel and adjacent to convention/Duff Center. It has some fast food but some really cute, artsy shop with many Kentucky artists featured. If you are a wildcats fan you will find many shops to get your souvenirs and a great candy shop with free samples and friendly staff!
First year attending such a great event and plan on returning in the future the Center was always kept clean and all the workers there were so very nice and helpful what a great place.
The convention center took excellent care of our conference. I was impressed! It is beautiful, comfortable, professional, and very nicely run. Great job!
