I have personally been on Queen City Riverboats with large groups and never, not never had we a single complaint on the food, service or hospitality of the staff. It is so relaxing not to have a mass of people bumping into you. The only downfall is the fact that there are only two women's restrooms and one men's. But...
My husband and I took one of the riverboats to the Riverbend venue for a concert. It was a fun atmosphere. Pretty views on the way there and back. Bar service available. We'd definitely do it again and avoid concert traffic!
The employees are extremely rude. The boats smelled terrible. They keep adding new fees to your package. Doubt the validity of those that gave them high scores. They are also extremely culturally insensitive.
Save your money.
We went on a cruise for the WEBN Fireworks on Labor Day. Tickets were NOT cheap and for my family to go, we shelled out close to $600 for 6 of us. That kind of money should get you something a bit more than the experience we had.
The food was worse than the worst wedding food I've ever had....
