We did a few tours on the Bourbon Trail and got the magnitude from Wild Turkey and the more personal feel from Willett. Great staff, lots of fun and since they are sort of closed for a couple of months "they all do because of heat', it was just my husband and me on the tour. Thanks Mitch for answering... 更多
We enjoyed our tour of the Willett Distillery. The tour guide and staff were friendly. The tour was interesting and the tasting was fun. Be sure to try both the bourbon and the rye. The Willett Pot Still Reserve is delicious!
I have visited Willett twice and recommend it to anyone on a bourbon trip. By all means visit one of the big boys but save some time to enjoy the family atmosphere at Willett. It's a good tour with that beautiful copper pot still. The tasting is also different than most places. You get to pick from 6 or eight... 更多
My First time to Willett. Tour price was $7.50. The tour guided seemed to be reciting from memory her tour spiel and you really didn't get to see much for the price. We did get to see the Still house but that was about it. The property that the distillery is located on is beautiful though. You got to taste... 更多
I live local and have done the tour a few times. The property is amazing inside and out! When I see a tourist who asks me where to go I tell them to come here. Two of my favorite bourbons come from here! One of the neatest things about this is its family oriented and it is not uncommon to... 更多
You probably won't go to Bardstown for Willett, but if you can spare an hour make sure to stop in. In contrast to Heaven Hill and Jim Beam, Willett is a micro craft distillery. What I like about these little guys is that it feels real and not like you're being marketed to. Our tour guide introduced us to the... 更多
We had never visited a distillery before today. Our tour guide Mitch was very informative and fun. The facility is very impressive and the tasting that followed the tour was educational. We left with a new appreciation for the bourbon making process - and a couple bottles of great tasting bourbon.
The grounds were beautifully kept and we felt at home and welcome. Our tour guide was excellent...thanks Mitch...and was extremely informative and fun. The distillery truly feels like a family run facility. My only suggestion would be to consider offering more than the one tour. After you've been to a distillery or two the tours are all the same. I... 更多
We enjoyed the smaller more intimate settings so Willett didn't disappoint. The staff was friendly when we walked in and we were lucky enough to get a tour on a busy Saturday. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the bourbon making process and offered a lot of information about Willett and the facility. It's small and quaint which is right... 更多
We enjoyed a lovely visit at Willett. Their facility maintains a historic connection that has been tastefully updated. The bourbons we sampled were delicious!
The Willett tour was the third distillery that we visited on our first day along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Keep in mind, Willett is NOT on the bourbon trail but considered more of a boutique/craft distiller. I'm not completely sure why these distillers want to take EVERYONE on a tour before a tasting. After one or two, you get the... 更多
Despite the showers - we had a great time. Umbrellas were provided for those who didn't plan ahead. Our tour guide Debbie was fantastic - very friendly and very, very knowledgeable. Tour price is reasonable and the tasting after the tour offered a broad range of choices.
While waiting for a Heaven Hill tour to begin, we toured the Willett Distillery, which is only one mile away. Everyone was friendly and the buildings and grounds were both historical and beautiful. Our tour guide provided an informative and fun tour, which everyone enjoyed. This tour is very intimate compared to most tours of the larger distilleries. We all... 更多
