The museum is small. It took us about 45 minutes to get through it. My relatives took less time then that. For its size, it was a little expensive, but if you have any interest in the movie its definitely with the stop.
This museum tells the story of The Wizard of Oz from the book to making of the movie & beyond. It was a small place but the displays where very cool. the staff were very friendly.
We used the Oz Museum as an excuse to take a break from driving across I-70. My wife was more excited to stop than I was, but the museum quickly won me over! The museum is very neat and well laid out. It's full of artifacts with relevant information. The colorful scenes they created pull you into the movie. And... 更多
This is a small museum but we learned so much about every aspect of The Wizard of Oz! Also so many more of Baum's books and about the author himself. There's even a haunted forest with the wicked witch of the west that was scarry for our little granddaughters! But in a good way. The gift shop has almost all... 更多

Nevertheless, the museum has a ton of stuff roughly divided between Baum and his books and the 1939 movie. Unfortunately, the place was too busy during our visit to read all the placards and watch films. I would... 更多
So I'll admit, I hadn't watch the WOO in about 20 years, I wasn't a huge fan to begin with, but this museum brought back great memories and is very full designed. If you have the time, you need to come here and not just walk the museum, but watch the full movie in their little theater also. Its all... 更多
We were spending the night in Kansas City, MO, and decided on a whim to check out the museum on a Sunday afternoon. It was about an hour-and-a-half drive, so we had about an hour to spend at the museum. That was the perfect amount of time for my husband and I to walk through and see everything. There were... 更多
