We visit the zoo several times a year and love it! The exhibits are so clean and well taken care of. These animals are treated like family and it shows. Restaurant has delicious food and treats and the gift shop has an abundance of souvenirs to leave with. It is perfect.
Take the name literally, there are rolling hills to walk up and down. I took my grown daughter there for her birthday and we walked 5 miles that day. I would get there when the zoo opens in the morning while the animals are active and moving about. There is a bat exhibit, reptiles, and some areas have inside viewing... 更多
This was a wonderful morning outing! We are members of another zoo, so the price was minimal with our discount. At full price, the zoo is worth it! Great walking tour! Go early in the summer to avoid the heat!
We arrived at 9 because I think that was time tripadvisor said they open. They open at 8. An animal had escaped and after paying admission they told us that and to stay on east side then no animals had been let out because they were all trying to get oryx back in. So after an hour they asked us... 更多
Every time I go I see something new and different. The museum is so impressive, if you haven't been, you really must take the time. Be sure the go thru the Earl Bane gallery and do a tram trip. Salina is fortunate to have such a fabulous addition.
We had a blast! This Zoo is incredible! We as a family, 2 adults and 1 child under 2, had such an amazing time! not only at the Zoo outside but the Museum inside! We will be back. The entire Facility is very clean and well kept. The staff is very friendly and helpful! We can't wait to get back!
This is unlike any other zoo we've been too and so much nicer than any city zoo. Lots of animals to see and each exhibit could be viewed on at least 2 to 3 sides so you can see the animals. The landscaping was beautiful, well taken care, I couldn't get over how nice everything was. The Walkers who built... 更多
The price has gone up several times over the years and it is now $50 for a family of 4. The zoo is pretty small and the animals are hard to see. I didn't really see it worth the cost.
I live in Salina, so this isn't a "traveling through" review, but it's nice to know what locals think too. Rolling Hills Zoo is located approx. 15 miles west of Salina, off of Interstate 70. Rolling Hills has two main components: a museum and the zoo. Your admission covers both. The museum also you to walk through different wilderness areas... 更多
