I enjoyed the Clabber Girl Museum. I learned about so many products that were a part of the family of items that contributed to Clabber Girl dynasty. We spent about an hour and fifteen minutes and felt that we saw and enjoyed the interesting things on display.
Stopped here for brunch, but enjoyed the museum as much as the food. The information on the infamous baking powder wars was worth the trip. Baking powder wars. Whoda thunk?
Great downtown location inside the Clabber Girl offices. Adjacent to museum which I have not visited but looks interesting. Great service and a very good place for a business meeting. Good coffee.
So, apparently Clabber Girl made Terre Haute. Who knew? The museum features exhibits both about the history and growth of the Clabber Girl (and related) manufacturer and products and about the history of home cooking, particularly during the pre War and World War II era. I found the information unique and interesting and particularly enjoyed the propaganda posters and information... 更多
This is a small museum which walks through some of the history of Terre Haute and how the Hulman family impacted the growth of the town. There is also a nice little restaurant which serves a great lunch while on your museum visit. Plus, there is no charge to do a walk through tour of the attached museum. Parking is... 更多
Glad we made the stop. It is a small museum but worth the visit. So glad that they could preserve the history.
This is a quaint little museum with a random collection of stuff. There is a small art gallery hidden in the back corner which has work by local artists that is worth a look. Go for lunch and take a moment to wander through the museum. It won't take long.

This was a great place to take a break from a long driving day. I grew up using Clabber Girl Baking Powder but had never stopped to consider the history behind it. I had never heard of the Hulman Company, so it was interesting learning something new. I felt like I had gone back in time as I viewed the... 更多

A small but important look at the last hundred years or so in America, particularly on the kinds of foods that appeared on a typical American dining room table. Many of the products produced by several generations of the Hulman family are on display. There is something rather authentic about the exhibits. There is a warm, cozy feeling. One could... 更多
