I spent a couple of hours here with my two teenage daughters. We enjoyed walking around the beautiful property and taking pictures. We took the tour of the house and studio. Very informative but mostly it was a nice, slow paced kind of day.
I am not an artist but my wife and her friend are and wanted to visit this place. My buddy and I were with mainly because the ladies wanted to go.. I actually found it interesting, not because of the art but because you were able to step back in time and see how people lived back in the early... 更多
Took my 20 year old granddaughter to see this place which I had once seen. It is very interesting and very accurate in detail. I do wish the state would do a littleTLC on the place but it was okay, especially inside.
This was something my wife wanted to do and not really something I wanted to do but you know how that works. But I'm glad I went, very fun and informing. Some very interesting things about an Indiana painter I knew nothing about but now feel I should have. His house and studio is on the property with 95% of... 更多

We arrived on Friday the 13th in May and did not know what to expect since we were driving higher and higher into the wooded hills of Brown County, Indiana, and the road way became... 更多
I came here as a tour guide for some Polish delegates for the 2014 International Convention of Jehovah's Witnesses in Indianapolis. They LOVED it. I was kind of bored but they seemed to get a kick out of it.
We went in April and the grounds and gardens were all being worked on. Not much in bloom. Walking the grounds is free. A tour of the house and studio was offered (for a fee), but the tour guide was a little off-putting so we chose not to do the tour. We felt the gardens/grounds needed a lot of maintenance... 更多
It was not very scenic, but that was due to the time of year. I don't like guided tours and that was the only way you could see the inside of the buildings, so that was disappointing.
My wife and I visited Brown County from Cincinnati for a weekend getaway. I had read about the T.C. Steele house and museum and wanted to check it out. I'm more interested in art than my wife, but we both really enjoyed our visit. We visited in late March, so not the height of the visiting season, and we were... 更多
