While visiting my daughter at Ball State, I needed a place to run. Found the Cardinal Greenway Trail and it was an excellent place to run.

Such a very calming experience! The music is so enjoyable. You run into so many people who are friendly and also people that you knew a long time ago.
I love riding my bike in this trail, it beats riding on the roads! Its a bit bumpy in certain parts of the trail but overall, it's pretty smooth. I think they have the longest bike path I have ever seen in the middle of the country. They have made a path out of the old railroad tracks with rest stops and information post.
Riding or walking on the Greenway feels very safe and relaxing either alone or with friends or family. The Trail is well maintained and has a real neat oasis type ice cream shop that's fun to visit on a warm day.
