Years ago this was a beautiful movie theatre...now it is an amazing live art theatre that is home to national and local professional productions. A definite highlight for an avid theatre enthusiast and a very special experience for anyone interested in historic architecture and theatrical costumes throughout the years. Matinees and subscriber options available.
I've enjoyed several theatrical performances at this theatre, and hosted a small corporate party at the venue. Due to the age of the theatre, the seats are close together and somewhat small, but I love the originality of it all. Very professional cast and staff.
Attended The Three Musketeers as part of my birthday with a dear friend. We arrived early for the talk before the play and stayed after for the discussion with some of the actors. The play was very well staged, the theater is wonderful, and it is a gem in our city to have these small stages to offer such diverse... 更多
I took my adult granddaughter to see The Three Musketeers at the IRT when she came for a visit. All seats on main floor have good view. It was a 2 hour show with 15 minute intermission. You can purchase drinks etc & bring into theater. The play was full of action scenes. I used valet parking for $15 (price... 更多
Looking for something to do while staying downtown, we gave the theater a try... it was fantastic! We took in "The Three Musketeers" and were delighted at the experience. Quaint and charming theater, but the production quality is excellent! I'm looking forward to seeing another show. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great way to spend a night... 更多
I have gone to the IRT a couple of times to see A Christmas Carol, which was great both times. We just saw The Three Musketeers today, and we really enjoyed the show. The acting was great, and the show was fun and fast-paced. (I really enjoyed the performance of the actor that played Richelieu--what a talent. I am not... 更多
We've enjoyed each of the shows that we've seen on the IRT stage. Even more amazing is the Indiana Roof Ballroom on the top floor. Beautiful place to listen to great big band music and dance - or just watch others.
I've been to several productions over the years from ballets, to classic, to children' theatre. The inside is beautiful, especially the lobby areas. The sound is good and I've never had a bad view. This is a lovely place.
WE have experienced consistent quality performances that are both creative and interesting. Some light and fun and other with deep meaning in portrayals of human challenge. Whether you live here of are just passing through it is a good idea to check out the season's offerings.
There were no shows on when we were there, but we got invited to an event held inside the foyer area. It was so incredibly beautiful. Well worth a look if you can get inside.
