Drove almost 2 hours to see museum and was not disappointed. Skip is an amazing curator and took the time talk to talk to and answer all questions from my 8 yr old about history, engineering, and patriotism. My husband and I stopped here not knowing what to expect. The property is beautiful and the number of vehicles is impressive. My husband served in Vietnam, his father WWII so seeing tanks, jeeps, etc from those eras was nice. Doesn't take much time to check it out so make a quick stop.
This place is one of the most interesting and overlooked place in Montgomery County. It is full of history and there is always someone there to answer questions. They keep the grounds beautifully maintained, so please be considerate and drive slowly. If you are a Geocache seeker there is a cache here. It is cleverly hidden and very cute.

We visited the museum on our way through the area. We were very impressed with not only with the size of the display but the quality of the restorations. There were tanks, armored vehicles, jeeps and aircraft. It is apparent when you visit how much passion the Ropkey's have put into this collection. We highly recommend it to anyone.
