Though I've not covered every inch of the many People Trails, I especially enjoy walking at Mill Race Park and on the west side along Jonathan Moore Parkway. The paths are well maintained and free of limbs or trash. I always feel safe while walking in these open, yet scenic areas. And they can be used throughout the winter as... 更多
For a city of its size, Columbus, Indiana has done a FANTASTIC job connecting all corners of the city with paved trails. They're fantastic for bicycling, walking, running, and just enjoying nature. For 4 summers I spent several month working in Columbus. I would always bring my bike with me so I could ride after work. The paths are well-marked... 更多
I love the people trails here. The trails seldom cross automotive paths, often pass through parks, woods, neighborhoods and are well maintained and lighted. If you're looking for an activity to get you outside and enjoying life, I highly recommend the trains. They're great.
The trails are a great way to get around town, either for exercise or commuting. Never over crowded. The only bad part is some sections are prone to flooding.
Our family loves to use the people trails for walking and biking. They wind throughout Columbus and so we can get to many different areas and sides of town. There are some spots in which you have to cross streets but we have done so with the kids just fine. The area through Mill Race is great!
My wife and I bicycle or walk on the trail 3 to 4 times a week weather permitting. It is mostly well maintained, None of the routes are ever crowded. Great way to see much of the city.
Walking through the woods and along the riverside. Very relaxing and scenic view. Climb the tower at Millrace if it is open to the public.
