I've visited this museum on a couple of occasions now, and it was interesting both times. As you can expect it is a small museum, with just two aircraft, a Hurricane as well as a Spitfire. Museum consisted of 2 rooms 1 with a spitfire, 1 with a Hurricane. The social history of the war was well set out e.g. a letter from King George to the family of a dead serviceman etc. It didn't take long to look round but was interesting. Please leave a donation to keep it funded.
I took my 3 year old to see the Spitfire and Hurricane at what was RAF Manston. He loved it as much as I did. The staff were very helpful and encouraged my little lad to do some drawing of the aeroplanes. So glad we found the time to visit.
Great little museum. Th echildren found it interesting and as not to large they were entertained whilst I was able to read most of the descriptions on display.
As my headline suggests I stopped to have a respite and had a drink and a nibble before going around the museum it was lovely and we were welcomed nicely by staff, my son really liked the museum and would like to go back again.
My partner and I had a great afternoon here. We both couldn't fault it. We'd visited the RAF Manston History Museum beforehand and strolled along to the Spitfire & Hurricane museum. The exhibits were all well presented and the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. I throughly enjoyed walking around. I'd recommend it.

Great museum pieces and displays of all things spitfire and hurricane. Excellent cafe too. Great little shop and wonderful staff volunteers. Go there and donate what you can to maintain this for the future.
