The only thing missing here was James Arnett and Festus and Miss Kitty. An old west town totally unexpected in North Carolina. No cars allowed here- only horses -I am serious- dirt roads and realistic saloons. Great heartland meals like catfish, brisket, BBQ, Carp fries, Rocky Mountain oysters. This is Cowboy heaven. Look so interesting but was a big disappointment...most businesses was closed only bar and Cafe open Seen it on TV couldn't wait to go and such a let down I hate to see it shut down it was a wonderful thing that was built. But hardly anyone there on a Saturday afternoon.
Ok, first of all...Love Valley is a working horse town. I say "horse town" because to get in you either have to walk or ride a horse. A friend of mine and his band were playing at The Silver Spur Saloon so I decided to go. I camped out. There are plenty of places to camp...as long as you dont... 更多
This little town is just off I77 in North Carolina, north of Charlotte. It's a small place, open Thurs thru Sunday. Neat place to visit and ride. Other days of the week there is still riding and places to stay, but town is not 'open'. Was a cool little overnight stay for me. Would definitely go again.
every time we go to Love Valley we go with friends and family, if you have not been there yet you should put it on your to do list and make sure you bring alone the kids too !
We visited Love Valley as part of our tour. We were more than disappointed. No one was home! The shops were all closed. The place was rundown and it seemed as though every other building was For Sale. Could not recommend this to anyone.
I found Love Valley online and took the family there for a day trip. It seemed like it would be a good family outing. Unfortunately, nearly every shop was closed with only the cafe and saloon open. We were not greeted in either place and left almost immediately. A complete waste of an afternoon.
