The Railspitter is the largest covered wagon in the world with a huge statue of Abraham Lincoln sitting reading a book. Lincoln is the only city named for Lincoln before he became president, The wagon is huge and great for taking pics. It sits right out front of the Best Western Plus in Lincoln Illinois

This is something unique and fun to stop and get some photos. Grandchildren thought it was cool! It only takes a few minutes to look at the sign and get photos. This shouldn't be your destination but is great for a break.
This is what my wife calls a "drive by". That means we drive by, hop out to get a picture, and get back in the car. It's a great stop to let everyone stretch their legs, see a huge covered wagon, get their picture made, then move on down the road.
