Grant Park is a wonderful little park that boasts a terrific view of Galena, and the park itself is beautiful! It is a very peaceful and clean park and we enjoyed all of the sights in the park!
Beautiful park to take a walk in and take photos overlooking the city and river. Lovely perrenials and a few canons and a statue of Grant with a fountain.

We actually stumbled upon this park. We went for a walk after dinner along the Galena River and crossed the bridge to the park. There are quite a few cannons, a soaring statue of General Grant, a fountain, some benches and a playground. It's a wonderful place to sit and relax after dinner or get away from the bustling downtown.... 更多
Have always loved strolling through this park. You can sit and view the downtown from the east. Watch some kayaks go by and listen to children playing on the swings. Lovely 1930's or 1940's water fountain that have cherubs all around. A gazebo to chat with love ones. Amazing park.

The park overlooks the Galena/Fever River and the city. Along the walkways are benches... 更多
Many benches and shade, able to just sit and read with my dogs (mostly) sleeping on the grass next to me. Easy walk across the bridge to downtown shops. Really just a nice green space in a welcoming little town!
