There is a lot of interesting educational information at the cultural center. There are numerous model-size windmills that are used for different functions. The guide at the cultural center gives a fantastic explanation. There is other Dutch heritage, gifts, and food items here. This is a free center. Donations, of course, are welcome.
We enjoyed visiting this museum and cultural center (stopped here after seeing the nearby Windmill). They have a few working models of European Windmills, food and souvenirs. The volunteers working there are very nice and knowledgeable.
After visiting the windmill we went across the street to the windmill cultural center where they had many models of windmills across Europe three of which where operational. I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised to see all the extremely detailed models (by Henk and June Hielema) demonstrating all types of windmills in 10 different countries, including 3 that actually turn. We went here for Dutch Days, arriving on Friday and were quite impressed with this small museum. Who knew there were windmills in Persia about 850?
