The museum is nice and offers exhibits you won't see anywhere else...While it may not be "fancy" it is a good time and one of the brighter spots in the area to visit... My family would rather visit here then the atrocity the City of Peoria calls a Museum on the riverfront, but that's another review. If you are in... 更多
This museum houses all kind of wheel drive cars, trains, farm equipment, digging equipment, washing machines, to name a few. Anything that uses a wheel to operate and move the item
What a great museum, with lots to see and touch, the owners were there to greet us and were very interested in where we came from. They new the people in Nebraska that we were going to visit. This museum is a must visit when in Dunlap
Lots of hands on items and display pieces. Several buildings. Did not know you needed to bring in some change for some of the display items. nickels, dimes, quarters cant remember if there were penny items or not because we did not take change in. Can ask questions and staff will answer. Will be back with some change
We went to the Wheels O' Time Museum-- so cool! Must be our 4th or more trip, so we walked through to see the new displays. What a sweet surprise to see the Silver Streak (which I forgot was on display-- The Famous 1926 Tin Lizzie of the adventurous Gypsy Coeds of Bradford Illinois) I had to get the book... 更多
I think, it's one of the most exciting local museums, it must be popular with history lovers, families, school kids ... anybody, really. It's fun to walk around the museum. It has thousands of fascinating exhibits and artifacts that give you the very clear sense of history and of how much was done by the previous generations ... and also... 更多
Yes, go. We spent close to three hours enjoying the variety of exhibits in the four buildings & outdoor train track. More than just "wheels," though the scope, restoration, & information about the vintage vehicles was interesting. We were encouraged to "play" with any buttons, levers, or hands-on-materials available. That's one reason WO'T would be entertaining, as well as educational... 更多
Excellent family fun. Very interesting for all ages, car buffs, train buffs, clocks, old toys, very relaxing fun time for all ages, except toddlers. If you live here, or just passingvthrough. You must see. We took our 9 year old granddaughter. She had a blast.
My type of visit was actually for school but that wasn't an option. Anyways, it reminded me of my grandpa with the old cars and tractors. There was a lot of random historical stuff from Illinois. It was a really good experience with my classmates! My tour guide (Joe) was a great tour guide! All in all, an awesome time!!
