Get off the highway, drive downtown Collinsville, take a fascinating photo, and have a home cooked meal at one of the local places. Ashman's pharmacy on main street and #159 sells merchandise themed for the large catsup bottle. We bought a Christmas ornament.
Not much there but the large bottle is interesting for a few min.. After that there is nothing to really see there or do. It is on the road and has limited parking.
I am originally from Missouri, but the boyfriend took me to see this, it is awesome! It looks just like the picture. It is a must see, drive by and have a look.....
This was a little side trip we made coming home from St. Louis. You can drive by it, but no where immediate to stop except for a gas station nearby. The only place that sells souvenirs of it is a local pharmacy and it's closed on Sundays. Wish we knew that as we would have stopped in on the way... 更多
It's "the catsup bottle" and the only time it's talked about amongst our neighbors is in reference to where something else on 159 is located. A piece of local history and an icon. Not sure who owns it now? It was for sale if you need a giant water tower catsup bottle.
Like so many things in this world, some of you may find this interesting and most of you won't. If you have to go out of your way to see it, don't bother. If you see it while driving through; more power to you. Just don't expect a whole lot.

It's a big catsup bottle. Great photo opt. Other than that there's not much to say. Great stop if you passing by anyway. Nothing too fascinating. We didn't even get out of the car. I rolled down the window a snap the picture and we were done.
