Located just outside the beautiful city of Sandpoint in the panhandle of Idaho, this place is a hidden gem. The closest airport is Spokane, Washington. Quick car ride (1.5 hours) to the city. I chose this place because of the location (never been to Idaho before) and convenience to get to. The prices were better than Sun Valley and the... 更多
We are renting a home at the base of Schweitzer for the school year, and decided to get the "never on Saturday" season tickets. They are a good value... The mountain had great snow this season, so everyone was happy on the mountain. There is snow making capability, but it was operating only early in the season and doesn't appear... 更多
This resort has a small time feel with big time features. We skied during the week and there were zero lines for the lift. The trees were well spaced in many places. I would recommend this as an advanced skier's mountain. The 'green' runs are very limited here. A confident 'blue' skier will enjoy this, and someone comfortable on 'black... 更多
Sweet mountain, especially if there is fresh snow. Lots of terrain to ski with variable ability limits. Friendly people and staff. We went on busy weekend and could still find some peace and quite out there. I want to go back.
So much more terrain than expected, the backside on a pow day is to die for! Try and plan your trip around snow because I have heard that icy days are common. With fresh snow the place is like heaven.
Great snow coverage. All employees were friendly and helpful. We can't wait to go back! Fog and wind at the top made for low visibility. Relatively no lift lines and short rides.
A friend's family has a condo here so we planned a couples trip. I was the only beginner while the rest of our party are advanced skiers. The staff were excellent. The rentals were in great condition. The lines were short. The snow was good. We had a great time!
I know, I know--holiday weekends are crazy. There are so many people all with their gear and heavy clothing and helmets and backpacks and food....it's hard to find room to sit or even to walk around if you decide to go in the lodge. But the bathrooms, surprisingly, didn't have a line even for the women! Lift lines were bearable,... 更多
We have been going to Schweitzer for years and it never fails to disappoint. Early season conditions in many ways this holiday season but some recent snow made for excellent riding. Lots of packed and loose powder and some nice soft moguls to shred! I didn't get a chance to go into the new Summit Lodge but it looks amazing.... 更多
