This is a great trailhead to access the miles and miles of single and double track trails in the foothills for cycling, running, and hiking. On top of that there is a park with nice grass, a great playground, and they even have a bike repair stand with tools and a pump! Lots of options for off leash dogs on... 更多
This is an awesome place for a hike in the hills. Loves the birds and the scenery. There are trails for all activities, some just to walk. Some just to bike and horse. Some for dogs off leash. Go have a good walk and enjoy the outdoors.
I like to go Camel's back to run the trails, they are good to train on and there are some tough hills to climb. I see groups of people meeting at the Park for bike rides, walks or just to run/jog. I have seen families with dogs walking these trails as well. Good place to go if you like outdoor... 更多
Camel's Back Park is the perfect place to take your family! The park sits at the base of the foothills in Boise. From the park kids can play on the playground, families can take walks on the trail systems, dog owners can exercise their dogs, and runners/mtn bikers can start their trip from the parking lot! IT's the perfect park... 更多
If you are up for it....climb the "hill"! but be ready to be out of breath by the time you are at the top! The park itself is really nice and has some great trails as well as workout equipment. There are picnic tables for a quick bite to eat if you would like to do that as well.
There is no question that I love Camel's Back....though, admittedly, I have only climbed the face one time and I doubt that I will do it again. Climb up the front of Camel back. The grand kids had fun in the extensive playground equipment. while the adults amused themselves on the exercise equipment
Another park near downtown Boise, this park is fabulous for locals. You will find runners, people walking their dog (and Boise has lots of well-behaved dogs), and an annual fair. It is also close to the popular Hyde Park with coffee, ice cream and good restaurants.
I absolutely love this park. The view from the top of Camel's Back is my favorite of downtown Boise. Every time I visit, I have to hike this gem with my dogs!
