We started here with Savor Idaho. We have been back for a concert. This place is beautiful and the backdrop of table rock is very impressive. We love the garden and will likely buy a season pass in the near future.
Beautiful layout. Trails easy to navigate. Many different things to see from roses to veggies. Interesting setting, next to the Old Idaho State Penitentiary.
During the winter, there's what's called the Winter Garden aGlow, and it's so beautiful. They cover the trees in lights and have miniature trains running, and they give out hot chocolate. It's a little cold, but overall it's really fun. It's fun for the whole family, both teens, younger children, and adults!
My daughter and I came to Boise for a family wedding but also wanted to see some of the sites. The Botanical Gardens popped up as a good place to go. Good doesn't begin to describe this place. I love visiting for both the horticulture and Great Garden Escape concerts on Thursday nights during the summer. For frequent visitors, the Annual Pass is a great way to support the gardens.
I make time to go each season... The grounds are maintained to give everyone something to see. Idaho has a very diverse landscape and these gardens show it all off beautifully.
Been to two concerts so far this year. Great venue. First time they were a little unorganized for their first concert of the season (Paul Simon) but Willie Nelson was much improved. Thanks for a great time!
Beautiful, well maintained, and lots of variety. Not too big, so it's a great place as a short sightseeing spot in Boise. We walked the whole place, including two rests on some benches to enjoy the scenery, in about 1.5 hrs. Highly recommended!
