This park is absolutely beautiful. A great place to get away. Across the street is another park with lots of areas for frisbee and picnics. There is also a neat water feature, a playground and the Boise River right there.
Kathryn Albertson Park is probably my favorite Boise park to just take a short stroll and observe the birds, turtles, and other creatures that inhabit the grounds and to enjoy the beautiful plants and ponds. Kathryn Albertson Park is a gorgeous setting for meeting friends, walks, photo sessions, and even weddings. I would make the same suggestion as anywhere along the Greenbelt. Best not to walk alone or after dark. Boise is a very safe city, but not always and not everywhere.
This is a great place to unwind and relieve stress. There are several paths that wind through the park. I've seen rabbits, deer, geese, ducks, turtles. It's a great place to walk any time of the year.
this is a very relaxing park to take a morning stroll in. Unfortunately it has been infested with geese. The park people regularly "blow" the poop back onto the grass. Lots of shade trees along the path that weaves through the park.
Great walk to see wildlife or just sit and read a good book. Very tranquil. There are pond for the wildlife, but they are not for fishing. The Boise river runs right next to it if you are looking to fish.
