I took 3 teenagers with me and as first time visitors we learned so much about birds of prey. The staff was welcoming and the volunteers were very friendly. The two hours were very enjoyable and well worth the visit.

Only checked this place out after seeing the sign on the interstate and so glad that I did. It was a fantastic experience that included a really good centre with videos, interactive exhibits for kids and info panels on all of the birds themselves as well as the conservation efforts to bring them back from the brink of extinction. It's... 更多

This is the place to learn about American birds of prey. This is not a zoo - the purpose of the center is to breed endangered species for release into wilderness (Californian condors for sure), and to study birds. Some are displayed in captivity. It is an opportunity to see some of the species up close, the way you hardly... 更多

We visited in time for the live bird exhibit. My daughter and two sons were very impressed. Particularly to learn that female birds of prey are larger than males. The staff is very friendly and shares a lot of knowledge. It is a quick trip and you get to enjoy great views on the way up to the center.

I learned a lot on my two visits here, but in all honesty, it was depressing seeing the birds in captivity who were brought to the center after being too injured in the wild to survive. I appreciate what the center does, but it reminds me too much of old zoo's from mid-20th century. It was VERY educational!

Excellent opportunity to learn about many birds of prey. Both indoor and outdoors. Great docents--who are well trained. Everyone should visit and spend some time learning about how the Peregrin Falcons and other birds of prey are being saved.

The drive out of town is a bit far (10-15 miles) and the Sanctuary could be a little more inviting. Condors cool and some good learning. Staff friendly, but remind you that the Sanctuary closes early at 5p so don't get all the way out there and miss it. Good luck and enjoy!

This was a nice place to visit. We walked up at the moment that they opened up the separate building with the falconry exhibit. They only open it up twice a day. It was very interesting and had some valuable and historical artifacts. The other part of the center had a live bird talk, which had two birds. There was... 更多

Walked into what seemed to be a small operation. Turned out that while small, it is packed with information. We've never been that close to a numbet of these birds. The birding trail was great, as well. There were wild ground squirrels scampering around, birds of prey gliding on thermals, and the views of the area and of Boise were... 更多
