The Strand is a quaint little theatre. Almost demolished a few years ago it was saved from the wrecking ball. We have seen many excellent shows there and ticket prices are a great value. Conveniently located on the Marietta Square with many fine restaurants and cafes close by. Free parking available and convenient. Definitely recommend the Strand for any show!
We were there for a play. My problem was getting someone's attention to help me go down via electric chair. Other then that it was an enjoyable evening for us.

However, I've seen two movies there, and for the life of me could not figure out why the audience was laughing at all the "old fashioned" film making.... 更多
The venue has been beautifully and carefully restored. My wife and I have been to a number of concerts at the Strand and we love the place. Acoustics are great, they offer a bar and waiters. You couldn't ask for more, unless the Strand paid for the tickets.
Went on our own independent your of Marietta's Square and ended up at Earl Smith Strand. Theater reminds me of movie theaters I went to growing up. Make the Strand just one of the stops while visiting the Marietta Square.
Love the Strand ..... reminds you of yesteryear at the movies or play. The Strand is a cornerstone of history for Downtown Marietta and is a Fox Theatre in the minature. They provide a broad spectrum of entertainment for all ages.
Love the Strand and all it offers. I have been to the Strand many times but this was my first time taking in the parade. The view of the 4th parade was outstanding. Plenty of drinks available as well as air condition on a sunny day. Can't miss in Marietta.
Love coming here to see a movie and especially enjoy the sing-along beforehand, though that makes my daughter cringe. I am so glad they renovated and restored this wonderful venue.
This Old Theater on the Square in Downtown Marietta, GA is simply magnificent and the organ is awesome. It was redone and reopened in 2009 and is well worth the visit. They don't make theaters like this anymore and the history is very interesting. A bunch of us from the Woodstock Senior Center had a tour here in January of... 更多
