Lovely place to stroll, shop, eat or drink. It has unique stores, and has a small town atmosphere. There are festivals for holidays, and often has some kind of activity. The 4th of July was a perfect time to be there. Fireworks, art show, lots of kids activities.
I really enjoy the restaurants and cute shops in the Marietta Square. It is also a wonderful place to bring friends who are not familiar with the area. I have walked around the Square for over 30 years. quant shops, several bars, lots of restaurants. Traffic congestion is worse then ever. Sidewalks have keen widened. Lots of events are held there each year including weddings.
Marietta Square has a variety of shops, some touristy, but all locally owned, restaurants for almost every palate, theater venues and monthly art walks and farmers markets.
